Communication
Our word Communication comes from the Latin word common
or Sharing common ground. To become effective communicators
we must first reach common ground. The need for adults to be competent
communicators becomes readily apparent as we examine our social
roles. We are asked regularly to assist our friends, spouses, children,
colleagues, and co-workers in making a great variety of choices
and resolving all kinds of problems. Indeed, the quality of our
relationships depends largely on our competence as communicators.
Participants will define and recognize the choices made and how
a person chooses to act out their basic intentions. Through this
awareness the participants potential to become a valued team
player and manager are greatly enhanced.
